Evita Bezuidenhout is now 89, always ten years older than her imposter.

She has been in the public domain since 1981 when she, as South African Ambassador to Bapetikosweti, caught the public’s ear and eye.
She has experienced the dramas of the National Party’s chalk becoming the ANC’s cheese.

Still in the kitchen of Luthuli House, Tannie Evita keeps her opinions carefully to herself. However, after a feeble voter support in the recent general election, some things just cannot be restrained.

Evita at 89 will prove once again that she brings the needed humour in our democratic wilderness.
