The “Seven Passes MTB”, powered by Toyota Knysna is back! It’s happening on the 30th of November 2019. The race starts at the beautiful Glenwood House School in George.
This route offers the perfect opportunity for gravel-bikers to take on the 29ers. E-bikers are also welcome on this non-technical route. Racing starts at 07H30 just before late registration between 06H00 and 07H00. 7Passes MTB also offers a shorter route for younger or not so fit riders who still want to be part of the action. The 38km event is powered by Leeuwenbosch Dairies and starts on Saturday morning from the Highlands Cash Store in the humble little village of Karatara. The start time for the shorter route is 09H30.
'The Farm’ at the foot of the Simola Pass will host the finish line and venue.
‘The farm’ is a perfect place to enjoy a well-deserved Wood Fired pizza and any other delicious meal on the menu. A pump track is available for kids to keep themselves busy while you enjoy the chilled atmosphere of this new finish venue.
Participants are invited to overnight in Knysna and join us and Knysna Sports School team for a supported ride back to George the next day. You can leave your vehicle safely overnight at Glenwood House School. A shuttle service will be available for overnight bags and will shuttle bags back to George on Sunday. The supported ride back to George on the Sunday morning will follow the Seven Passes route and is not a sanctioned event but rather a social ride, chatting pace. A sweep vehicle will support the Sunday social ride back to George.
