Beaches

The Indian Ocean supplies a great many beaches. Warm waters come in through the tides during the summer months giving everybody in the family a great day out. Bollard Bay on Leisure Isle is actually a lagoon. The great expanse of water is a haven for water sports such as canoeing. It’s a very family friendly beach where children can splash in the shallow waters. Just remember to check whether the tide is high or low when you decide to go. At low tide there won’t be very much water at all! Noetzie Beach will make you feel like you are on your very own paradise island. Well, not exactly an island. It’s actually a little beach accessible from Pezula Hotel. With a steep walk down, you’ll have to pack light. It’s worth the walk though as you will be able to spend a few hours down there; it’s a good idea to take a picnic.

Whichever beach you choose, you will be offered a relaxing day out. Remember that wherever you go you should take the essentials; water, snacks, cell phone, hat and a great attitude!
