Undoubtedly the highlight of the festival is the parade through town with the newly crowned Miss Slow Festival Queen, creature puppets by Roger Titley (of soccer world cup fame), giant dragons and more providing a spectacular entourage for the event.

With some of the finest dining along the Garden Route, a new addition to this great festival will be the Slow Food and Wine Marquee which will offer visitors the opportunity to sample fine wines from some award-winning estates and indulge in mouth-watering dishes created by the town’s highly acclaimed chefs. Added to this will be the Slow Food Cook-off, sure to create a culinary stir!
