According to Knysna Tourism CEO Shaun van Eck, much is being done to ready the town for the arrival of Les Bleus. “Preparations are well underway to let our French visitors feel welcome in Knysna. This includes courses on French customs and in conversational French, the arrival of three French exchange students who will spend the duration of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ at the Knysna Tourism Office and Thesen Harbour Town being turned into a veritable French and Danish village.”
