Knysnawoodworkers is proud to be hosting the 2013 Knysna Woodworkers Festival to be held in Knysna from Tuesday 24 – Sunday 29 September 2013.

It is with great excitement that we are planning the 2013 Knysna Woodworkers
Festival which is to take place from Tuesday 24 – Sunday 29 September 2013which we hope to exceed all expectations to both participants and visitors alike, particularly with the huge support of Trademax as our official media sponsors, as well as with the unfailing support of Knysna Tourism.

The purpose of the Knysna Woodworkers Festival is to reignite the early pioneering spirit

and the love for timber. We wish to create more awareness of South Africa’s timber industry, giving an insight into the wealth and beauty of this material. Our timber and furniture had been a primary source of income, industry and life for so many and the Knysna Woodworkers Festivalcelebrates the woodworking industry both past and present.

The aim of the Knysna Woodworkers Festival is to expose all suppliers, producers,manufacturers and crafters within the timber industry to a whole new client base and to benefit from the commercial trade which will be generated within the timber industry.

FOR A TRULY UNIQUE WOOD EXPERIENCE – THE KNYSNA WOODWORKING FESTIVAL IS NOT TO BE MISSED!

We are calling all interested wood workers, woodworking clubs and associations throughout South Africa as well as any affiliated industry to exhibit in this special event.

The only criterion for participation in the festival: all things related to wood!

The sectors to be incorporated - Arts & Crafts / Furniture Manufacturing / Timber Merchants / Timber Frame Building / Timber Treatment and Preservation / Paint, coatings & protective sealants / Forestry and Sawmilling / Woodworking Machinery (industrial and DIY) / Power Tools / Fastening Systems / Handles, hinges & accessories / DYI / Training & Education / and any other application utilizing timber.
