Accredited professional tour guides Anne Centner and Mandy Stubbs from Knysna Hike & Bike have partnered up with Simola Hotel & Spa to offer a full day package with a difference. It starts off with either a short and informative guided hike through the leafy realm our celebrated Knysna Forest, or an informative stroll through the town of Knysna. Thereafter you can wind down with a 45min indulgent massage at the exquisite Simola Spa and a delicious spa lunch. Sounds to us like rather sublime experience!

Wild Option: Knysna Rib Adventures

Knysna Rib Adventures offers a power boat adventure that promises to get your heart racing. If you want to feel the wind in your hair coupled with the ultimate sense of freedom, this activity is definitely for you. Departing daily from the Knysna Waterfront, you will head across the Knysna Estuary at high speed on the"Moonraker", a custom designed Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) or "Rubber Duck' as they are commonly referred to by locals. Powered by twin, 4-stroke 300HP Suzuki engines, the boat can achieve speeds of up to 53 knots (98 Km/h) and has great sea going capabilities. If conditions are favourable, you will exit the famous Knysna Heads and experience the beauty of the dynamic Indian Ocean.

So, hold on tight for a safe, high speed ride - a totally exhilarating way to enjoy the breath-taking scenery of the estuary and the adjacent coastline.
