And this year we have some extra special surprises in store for you!

Actually...
THE MOST EXCITING THING EVER TO HAPPEN SO FAR AT THE
KNYSNA CELTIC FESTIVAL!

Two of the world’s very best Celtic musicians –
master Glaswegian bagpiper Finlay MacDonald and award-winning virtuoso Shetland Fiddler Chris Stout – are flying all the way from Scotland especially to play for us at the 2017 Sundowners Celtic & Bluegrass Concert!

Please go to our Knysna Celtic Festival Facebook page to read more about Finlay and Chris…

The second wonderful surprise is that Captain Stuart Samson MBE, former co-ordinator of the Massed Pipes and Drums at the world-famous Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Scotland will also be coming to Knysna. Stuart is currently Director of Massed Pipes and Drums at both the Basel Tattoo in Switzerland and the Berlin Tattoo in Germany and we are extremely excited, honoured and privileged to be welcoming him to the festival as our Guest of Honour

Please go to our Knysna Celtic Festival Facebook page to read more about Stuart…

The concert will run from 5.00 pm – 9.00 pm and is a fundraiser, primarily for the very deserving Knysna Sea Cadets. After our 2016 event we were proud to be able to donate another R25,000 to the Cadets (bringing the total raised so far for this very worthy organisation to approximately R100,000) – and this year we are aiming to match or better our 2016 donation, so please do help us to achieve this goal!

Please do plan to have your dinner during the concert – a variety of good quality local food and beverage vendors will be open throughout the concert and there will also be a Celtic Pub serving wine, beer and cider – so please do join us to eat, drink and have a wonderful time!

Tickets (R140 each) are on sale NOW from:
● All of the four Sotheby’s offices in Knysna (Leisure Isle, Woodmill Lane, Thesen Island, The Mall) and also the Sotheby’s offices in Sedgefield and Plettenberg Bay
● Bosun’s Pub & Grill on George Rex Drive
● The Royal Hotel – corner of Main and Queen Street, Knysna
● Knysna & Partners (Knysna Tourism)

This year all pre-purchased tickets to the Concert include
FREE DAYTIME ENTRY
to the Highland Gathering at Loerie Park!

Don’t miss out, buy your tickets early!
Please remember that all seats are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis – so those who buy their tickets earlier will be seated nearer to the front of the stage

NB: These tickets would make
ideal Christmas presents!
