In a quiet, leafy district on the East side of Knysna, our cottage is the perfect holiday base for small families or couples. Its unique position beneath a magnificent syringa, offers shade and privacy and a charming treehouse feel all year round. Tastefully decorated throughout, the cottage is bright and airy with an attractive first floor furnished verandah, pretty courtyard-style patio, braai and secure, gated parking. Arranged on two floors, the accommodation comprises two pretty ground floor bedrooms: one queen room with French doors leading to the patio and a smaller twin room. The bedrooms share a modern bathroom with a bath/shower and toilet. The smart open-plan kitchen is on the first floor and features a breakfast bar and a range of appliances including oven, hob, fridge/freezer, kettle and other equipment.Beyond the Kitchen, there's a comfortable lounge area with sofa, coffee table, TV (with DSTV) and hi-fi. This, in turn, leads out to the beautiful furnished verandah beneath the Syringa. Just a short distance from the N2, the cottage enjoys an elevated position and is conveniently located just a few minutes' drive from all Knysna's attractions, including the Waterfront, Thesen Islands, Leisure Isle The Heads and Loerie Park.In addition to the huge range of restaurants, shops and boutiques in the town centre, there are excellent local pubs and cafés, plus a well-stocked mini-market, nearby.
