The Lodge is set in 8 acres of manicured gardens with well established trees and bordered by the black waters of the Goukamma River winding through the estate, 12 km from Knysna town. 2 Deluxe suite, 3 Family suite, 5 Twin/ Double bedded rooms & 1 Budget room The Executive / Honeymoon suite is upstairs in the Lodge - beautifully appointed, with an extra length queen size bed. The suite offers air- conditioning, an intimate lounge area with a log fire- place. Full en-suite bathroom with a plunge bath, separate shower. The view from the spacious balcony encompasses the river valley and indigenous forests. The deluxe suite upstairs in the Lodge is generously proportioned , complete with beautiful furniture and cosy log fireplace, offering twin or king-size bed and full bathroom en-suite . A private balcony with views over the river valley and forests The Garden complex offers: A cosy two bed roomed family suite (double bed and one twin bed respectively) with a full bathroom.The family suite has its own lounge with sleeper couch, and a private garden terrace. A self catering suite offering double bedded accommodation with a separate open plan lounge/kitchenette, furnished with a double sleeper couch for additional family members, light self-catering facilities and a private verandah overlooking the orange orchard and forested hillside beyond. Our very own challenging 9 hole par 3 (Mashie) Golf Course, ideal for the beginner or to hone your short game (Clubs available for hire )Relax around our swimming pool which over looks the Goukamma River. Take a canoe and drift up and down the river in & enjoy over 100 species of birdlife infront of the Lodge.Hop onto one of our mountain bikes and cycle down to Buffalo Bay or cycle up a dirt track into the hills beyond the Lodge.Retreat to the cosy lounge with a private honesty bar, fire place, 42" plasma flat screen TV with DVD, VCR and DSTV.Guests have the option of home cooked dinner, by arrangement.
