Only three minutes walk from Knysna's famous Heads, this resort offers you everything... True country ambience within a seven minute drive from all amenities of Knysna itself. The Resort is a private estate, in a beautiful 'park-like' setting with grass and Milkwood trees, that once was part of George Rex's large farm - Melkhoutkraal we are next to a bird sanctuary. Chalets: Well appointed, comfortable self catering holiday chalets.Each Chalet is individually designed, with a bathroom (shower/bath). There may be a double bed or two single beds in the lounge area. Two sleeper chalets only have a double bed in the bedroom. The chalets are equipped with a fridge, microwave, gas stove, colour tv (SABC & E-tv), toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery. Each unit has it's own stoep and braai. Bedding is provided, but you are required to bring your own towels and dish cloth. Chalets are not serviced. Camping: A maximum of 6 persons (baby's count as a person - even if they are free) per site (Size 8mx10m), one caravan with side tent and one car. No plastic ground sheets are allowed. Ablutions have hot water 24 hours a day. There is scullery and laundry basins in the ablution area. There are wash lines, trees and fences are not to be used..
